Rabat – Moroccan-Dutch left-winger Oussama Idrissi is set to join Feyenoord for the upcoming season after signing a one-year loan deal on Wednesday.
Sevilla FC announced the news in a press release, congratulating Idrissi on the deal that is reportedly valued at €4 million. “Sevilla FC wishes all the luck in the world to the player in this new stage,” the statement said.
Idrissi joined Sevilla FC in the summer of 2020 from the Dutch club AZ Alkmaar. The left-winger played seventeen games with the Spanish club, delivering three assists during his stay with the Iberian team.
In the second half of the 2020-21 season, Idrissi joined AFC Ajax in Amsterdam for 14 games before returning back to his Andalusian team. He later went on a loan to Cadiz CF in January 2022, where he scored one goal in 13 games. Idrissi is now set to return to his former club Feyenoord where he played for four years in the youth divisions (U-17, U-19, and U-21) from July 2011 to July 2015.
Feyenoord Rotterdam tweeted earlier today that Idrissi’s first game with his new club is scheduled for August 13 against SC Heerenveen as part of the Eredivisie, the Netherlands’ top-tier football league.

Born to Moroccan parents in Bergen-op-Zoom, a city in the south of the Netherlands, Idrissi launched his professional football career with the Netherlands’ under 16 (U-16) team. He later played for Dutch U-17, U-20, and U-21 teams before choosing to play for Morocco.
The 26-year-old left-winger first joined the Atlas Lions, the Moroccan national football team, in March 2019 for an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Malawi.
