Rabat – The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace will hold the 10th Plenary Session of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace from July 13 to 15 in Morocco’s Rabat and Dakhla.
The session will host more than 80 parliament members from all over the world to discuss topics such as tolerance, discrimination, and peace.
The event will feature speeches from Moroccan political figures, such as Speaker of Morocco’s House of Representatives Rachid Talbi El Alami and the president of Morocco’s House of Councilors Naam Miyara.
The event’s first two days of activity will be held in Rabat, while the last day will be held in Dakhla.
The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace will also hold internal meetings for the organization while in Morocco. The council’s committees for peace strengthening, women and youth, sustainable development, and counter-terrorism are all set to meet.
The Council says it works “on spreading the culture of tolerance in order to address the issues of contemporary world peace.”
Founded in 2017 after a Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations Population Fund, the council hopes to combine expertise from different countries to combat emerging international challenges.
