Rabat- One of the best ways to keep your skin looking its best? Taking care of it with natural products sourced from Morocco’s ancient traditions. If you’re struggling with acne, dull skin, or other skin problems, these three Moroccan skincare hacks will help you cleanse, moisturize, and glow like never before!

Moroccan skincare routines are renowned for their ability to treat even the most stubborn skin issues. It is no wonder, given Morocco’s native ingredients like argan oil, olive oil, honey, and more! The exotic blend of spices and oils used in Moroccan beauty treatments has long been known to improve skin health.

1. Olive Oil and Sugar Scrub

An important preliminary step in a healthy skincare routine is exfoliation; removing dead cells from the upper layer of your skin. One of the easiest exfoliating facial scrubs to make at home is Olive and Sugar Scrub. This scrub softens the skin and removes blackheads and whiteheads.

According to Healthline, olive oil is rich in vitamins including vitamin A, D, K, and E. It also moisturizes and fights bacteria.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon of sugar

How to prepare

1- Mix the ingredients in a bowl

2- Apply to clean skin, and avoid touching the eyes area

3- Gently massage the face in circular motions

4- Rinse with warm water, and apply a moisturizer afterward

Repeat only once a week.

2. Honey and Cinnamon Mask

Honey is a wonderful ingredient that has been utilized for ages for its skin-care benefits. Honey moisturizes, protects, heals and soothes the skin.

A honey and Cinnamon mask fights fine lines and acne. Cinnamon is an anti-fine line agent. It has compounds that increase blood flow, nourish, and hydrate the skin.

Honey, on the other hand, has anti-antibacterial properties and is effective against pimples.

Ingredients:

3 teaspoons of honey

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

How to prepare:

Mix the ingredients in a bowl
Apply to clean skin, and avoid touching the eyes area
Leave the mixture on for 15 minutes then rinse it thoroughly with warm water.

3.  Almond oil and Rose Water

Prepare a mask with two teaspoons of almond oil and a few drops of rose water to nourish and soften your skin.

Leave the mask on your skin for at least half an hour until it dries out, then rinse with warm water.
