Rabat – While the exact schedule of the opening ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup remains a mystery, in the lead-up to the event, a number of artists are rumored to be taking part in the ceremony.
According to multiple reports, Bollywood actress and internet celebrity Nora Fatehi is set to perform at the highly anticipated opening ceremony in Qatar.
The Moroccan-Canadian actress, model, performer, and singer is reportedly joining other A-list artists set to perform at the opening ceremony including American rapper Nicki Minaj.
In an Instagram post last week, the young artist announced that she is starting a dancing challenge for the World Cup, saying that the winner of the challenge would join her on the stage in Doha, Qatar.

Nora Fatehi already starred in the official 2022 World Cup music video for “Light the Sky,” recorded by Moroccan singer RedOne. She is scheduled to perform in Hindi, symbolically representing the Indian people at the prestigious football event.
According to reports, Fatehi is set to share the stage with Nicki Minaj.
In October, reports came out that the Bollywood star was set to perform alongside Shakira and Jennifer Lopez. Since then, Shakira has reportedly refused to perform at the event.
The opening ceremony will take place on Sunday.
Born in Canada to Moroccan parents, Nora Fatehi first debuted in the modeling world with ‘Orange Model Management,’ a talent competition for models, after she dropped out of college.
While the 30-year-old has no formal training in dancing or acting, she made the spotlight with her belly dancing skills.
At the beginning of her career, the young star made numerous appearances in advertisements for various brands. Her first Bollywood feature was in the horror movie “Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans.”
She was then cast in a list of other Bollywood movies including a dance sequence in the movie “Temper,” and the ninth season of blockbuster reality TV show “Bigg Boss.”
Fatehi also appeared on the Indian version of the reality dance show “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.”
