Rabat – Morocco has made the list of the top 10 countries for 2022 Qatar World Cup ticket purchases, Morocco’s Ambassador to Qatar Mohamed Sitri indicated.

Setri said that the demand for the global tournament’s tickets has been high among Moroccan fans from across the world, a reflection of their great love and support for the Moroccan national team.

The Moroccan ambassador made the statement in an interview with sports news outlet Winwin, during which he discussed Morocco’s participation in the Qatar World Cup.

He expressed his support for Morocco’s Atlas Lions during the global tournament, hoping that the national team will display a likable performance.

The World Cup draw placed Morocco in Group F, alongside Canada, Belgium, and Croatia, which Setri described as a “difficult” group. However, Steri had high hopes for the Moroccan squad, saying: “We trust our players and our coach Walid Regragui.”

He highlighted the efforts of Qatari authorities to host the much-anticipated global event, including the help they offer Moroccan football fans.
