Rabat – Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani was seen celebrating Morocco’s win against Portugal proudly.

Videos show the Emir and his children throwing a celebration of the Atlas Lions at their stand on the Thumama Stadium, where the quarter-finals game between Morocco and Portugal took place on Saturday.

The Emir of Qatar and his children were also seen waving Morocco’s flag and carrying the Atlas Lions’ jerseys to celebrate the historic win.

The Emir of Qatar has been supporting Morocco’s Atlas Lions as several videos documented his family’s enormous happiness and joy following Morocco’s victories over the course of the competition.

With this victory, Morocco has become the first African and Arab country to qualify for the semi-finals in World Cup history.

Morocco’s win was brought by Youssef En-Nesyri who scored a goal for Morocco minutes before the end of the first half of the game.

Morocco’s defense line was able to preserve Morocco’s single-goal lead throughout the second half. Yassine Bounou, who was named the man of the match tonight, also contributed to the country’s win as he was able to stop strong strikes by some of the most notable players from the Portuguese team.

Morocco will now play against France or England, whose game against each other will start at 8 p.m. Moroccan time.

Morocco’s Atlas Lions’ fans are determined to see their national team in the final and even possibly as the winner of the 2022 World Cup.
