Morocco’s win was brought by Youssef En-Nesyri who scored a goal for Morocco minutes before the end of the first half of the game.
Morocco’s defense line was able to preserve Morocco’s single-goal lead throughout the second half. Yassine Bounou, who was named the man of the match tonight, also contributed to the country’s win as he was able to stop strong strikes by some of the most notable players from the Portuguese team.
Morocco will now play against France or England, whose game against each other will start at 8 p.m. Moroccan time.
Morocco’s Atlas Lions’ fans are determined to see their national team in the final and even possibly as the winner of the 2022 World Cup.
