Rabat – Prince Harry’s soon-to-be-published autobiography has stirred worldwide controversy. The allegedly leaked parts of the autobiography contain shocking allegations, ranging from prince William and Kate Middleton encouraging prince Harry to dress up as a Nazi to Prince Harry killing 25 people in Afghanistan.
The planned release date for Spare was January 10. But major news outlets such as The Daily Telegraph and The Guardian have obtained a copy of the Spanish version of the book, and leaked excerpts of the memoir have since been making headlines.
In a report on January 5, British news outlet The Telegraph quoted the prince as stating in his memoir that he killed 25 people during his second tour in Afghanistan.
In his autobiography, Prince Harry claimed that he had “taken human lives, something of which he is neither proud nor ashamed,” The Telegraph wrote.
In the heat of battle, the prince said he didn’t think of the 25 as “people,” but as “chess pieces” that had to be removed from the board.
In an attempt to absolve himself of guilt and provide “rational justification” for his actions, the prince said he recalled the 9/11 attacks on New York to convince himself that his killing of the 25 people was an act of vengeance against one of the worst crimes in human history.
Commenting on Harry’s revelations, senior adviser at the Taliban-run interior ministry Anas Haqqani tweeted, “Mr. Harry! The ones you killed were not chess pieces, they were humans; they had families who were waiting for their return.”

The tweet appeared to commend Prince Harry for acknowledging his actions. “Among the killers of Afghans, not many have your decency to reveal their conscience and confess to their war crimes,” it said.
Foreign policy analyst and former aide to Margaret Thatcher, Nile Gardiner also took to Twitter to condemn Harry’s behavior, saying that Harry “has destroyed himself, his reputation and any remaining goodwill that existed before the publication of his book.”
Prince Harry has destroyed himself, his reputation and any remaining goodwill that existed before the publication of his book. He has become a pariah to the British people, and will likely end up in exile with the massively destructive Meghan Markle in their California mansion.

The prince also disclosed in his autobiography that his brother, Prince William, and sister-in-law Kate Middleton persuaded him to dress as a Nazi for a costume party in 2005, the news website Page Six reported.
“I phoned Willy and Kate, asked what they thought. Nazi uniform, they said,” the prince wrote in his biography.

The British royal family has not yet commented on Harry’s autobiography or the claims he has made.
