Rabat – Morocco’s Football Federation (FRMF) announced free bus travel for fans who have tickets to attend the FIFA Club World Cup matches in Tangier.
The tournament will kick off today at Tangier’s grand stadium, with a faceoff between Al Ahly and Auckland City at 8 p.m. Moroccan time.
FRMF said that the organizing committee of the FIFA Club World Cup has offered ticket holders free bus travel for matches that will take place in Tangier. The buses will depart from Marjane and Aswak Assalam supermarkets
Tangier will host several matches, including the opening match between Al Ahly Auckland, as well as the February’s Seattle Sounders game against the “to-be-determined” squad game depending on today’s opening match.
Flamingo’s February 7 semi-final match will also take place in Tangier.
The FIFA Club World Cup will feature several matches, featuring giant clubs – including Spain’s Real Madrid, Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal, Morocco’s Wydad Casablanca, and Egypt’s Al Ahly.
In addition to free bus travel, Morocco’s railway operator ONCF also announced a special train program to facilitate travel to the event.
As part of the program, ONCF will deploy Al Boraq (high-speed train) as well as Al Atlas trains to facilitate fans attending the matches.
