Rabat – Peru’s football team coach Juan Reynoso has called up 25 football players to take part in the upcoming friendly game against Morocco on Tuesday.
The match against Peru, which is the second friendly game for the Atlas Lions, will take place tomorrow in Madrid at the Civitas Metropolitan Stadium at 19:30 (Moroccan time).
The lineup includes goalkeepers Pedro Gallese, Jose Carvallo, and Carlos Caceda.
In the defense, Reynoso selected Luis Advincula, Luis Abram, Carlos Zambrano, Miguel Araujo, Marcos Lopez, Miguel Trauco, and Anderson Santamaria.
As for the midfield, Reynoso is mobilizing several players, such as Renator Tapia, Wilder Cartagena, Yoshimar Yotun, Edison Flores, Christopher Gonzalez, and Jesus Castillo.
Pedro Aquino, Sergio Pena, and Andy Polo are also part of the squad lineup for the friendly game.
Forwards included in the selection are Gianluca Lapadula, Raul Ruidiaz, Andre Carrillo, Alex Valera, Percy Liza, and Ray Sandoval.
The same squad competed in a friendly match against Germany on Saturday when the Peruvian team faced a 2-0 loss against the German side.
The Peruvian national team also arrived in Madrid to prepare for the friendly game against Morocco.
Peru’s game against Morocco is taking place just a few days after the Atlas Lions defeated Brazil 2-1 on Saturday.
The Atlas Lions have arrived in Spain with high spirits, where the friendly game is taking place against Peru.
Morocco’s head coach Walid Regragui said that the match against Peru will not be easy “either.”
“We are going to give the chance to other players in order to gain playing time and confidence,” Regragui said in a post-match press conference on Saturday.
