Rabat – Brazil’s goalkeeper Ederson believes that the friendly match against Morocco’s Atlas Lions will be a “very complicated game.”
He explained that the game could be challenging because Morocco’s “team is very good, very aggressive and strong,” the goalkeeper said in a pre-match conference.
Ederson also recalled Morocco’s football fans, describing them as “fanatical.”
“I remember Qatar, I was returning to the hotel when they beat Spain on penalties. The rest of Qatar went crazy, with cars honking and people screaming. I told my wife how Moroccans are fanatical,” the football player said.
Morocco reached the World Cup 2022 semi-finals for the first time in the country’s history. Throughout the historic World Cup run, Morocco’s national team made eye-catching performances that earned them respect and admiration worldwide.
Morocco’s spectacular performances also earned the Atlas Lions the 11th position in the latest FIFA ranking.
Morocco is also the first-best football team in Africa.
Morocco’s friendly match against Brazil is the first since the World Cup games. The match will take place on Saturday, March 25 at the Tangier grand stadium.
Morocco will also play a second friendly match against Peru on March 28.
