Rabat – Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport (CMN) has been commended for its services, winning a total of three awards at the World’s annual Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards, by the Airports Council International (ACI).
The awards fell under various categories including, the best airport by size and region, the airport with the most dedicated staff, and the easiest airport journey.
ACI listed Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport as the best airport by size and region in the 5 to 15 million passengers per year category. This title recognizes airports with the top 20% overall satisfaction score by size and region at departure.
Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport has also won ACI’s easiest airport journey award, which commends the top 5% of airports for their performance on the travelers’ ease at the airport.
The airport claimed another winning title as it was named among the airports with the most dedicated staff. This award honors the top 5% of airports for the efforts of key stakeholders and personnel at various checkpoints.
The two associations that attribute the awards, noted the excellence in customer experience worldwide based on data from ASQ’s renowned departures and arrivals surveys.
Morocco has some of the best airports in Africa, with several Moroccan airports making the list of top international airports in recent reports.
In June 2022, Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport ranked fifth in the world’s most improved airport award issued by Skytrax, a UK-based consultancy firm.
The airport is Africa’s busiest as it ranked first in air traffic activities on a list of Africa’s five busiest airports compiled by Simple Flying, a German-based aviation news outlet.
