Rabat – Morocco’s national futsal team secured a resounding 5-1 victory over their Libyan counterparts today at the Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

This triumph propels Morocco into the final of the Arab Championship, bringing the country closer to a potential third consecutive championship title.

The team’s remarkable performance throughout the tournament has earned them a well-deserved place in the final, where they will face the winner of the second semi-final clash between Kuwait and Algeria which kicked off at 5 p.m. today.

During the group phase, the Moroccan team demonstrated their dominance with a series of commanding victories. They initiated their journey by overwhelming Comoros with a resounding 5-0 win, followed by a dominant 6-0 victory against Lebanon.

In the quarter-finals, Morocco continued their winning streak, defeating Saudi Arabia 5-2.

Having claimed the Arab championship title in both 2021 and 2022, the Moroccan national futsal team seeks to complete a historic hat-trick by triumphing once again in this year’s final, which will take place on June 16.

With passionate Moroccan fans eagerly anticipating the final showdown, the Moroccan national futsal team is poised to deliver an unforgettable performance and etch their names in the annals of Arab futsal history.
