Rabat – Renowned Moroccan jewelry guru Miryam Labiad, known as Mimia LeBlanc, celebrated a significant milestone after unveiling her first-ever boutique in Morocco, which showcased the beauty and refinement of the country’s culture.

The grand opening of MimiaLeblanc Casablanca marked an exciting new chapter in the Moroccan jewelry designer’s entrepreneurial journey, as well as showcased her deeply rooted connection to Moroccan culture and her commitment to promoting its uniqueness through her exquisite jewelry creations.

Speaking to Morocco World News, Mimia said that opening her first boutique in Morocco marked “a very special day,” stressing that it signifies a journey of going “back to the roots.”

“It’s a really good feeling, really. There are a lot of emotions … And I have a feeling that this store will be a good omen for me,” she said, emphasizing that “returning to your roots is a virtue.”

Stepping foot into Mimia LeBlanc’s store, visitors were immediately met with a world of luxury and refined taste. With great attention to detail, the boutique was crafted to reflect the brand’s elegance, offering guests a fascinating experience in a space that beautifully blended traditional Moroccan elements with modern sophistication.

The boutique showcased Mimia LeBlance’s jewelry collections, which reflects the brand’s dedication to celebrating Moroccan heritage, with a particular focus on Amazigh culture.

With “Ayyur collection,” Mimia drew inspiration from the Berber moon. Each piece of jewelry was an intricate work of art, meticulously handcrafted to capture the essence of Moroccan craftsmanship and artistry.

From stunning earrings adorned with intricate filigree work to delicate necklaces featuring sparkly gemstones, the collection reflected Mimia’s remarkable style and unconditional commitment to creating timeless pieces of jewelry.

She indicated that her collection also draws inspiration from nature, especially flowers, which can be seen in many of her jewelry designs.

Mimia presented a wide range of collections, including the “Bab El Mansour collection” which is inspired by Bab El Mansour Laalej, a monumental gate in the city of Meknes.

The grand opening of the boutique saw the presence of esteemed guests and A-list stars from various fields. 

Moroccan Actress Nezha Regragui and singer Bachir Abdou, parents of the singer Saad Lamjarred, were present at the opening ceremony, expressing their support and admiration for Mimia’s work and dedication.

“We are happy to witness this opening because this store will be of great significance in the jewelry industry in Casablanca,” Abdou told Morocco World News.

Saad Lamjarred, who could not attend the event, took to Instagram to congratulate his longtime friend on her project, describing her as the “superstar of jewelry.”

“Mimia, you can’t even imagine how proud I am of you. Mom and Dad were there, celebrating those precious moments. I wish I was there too, but insha’Allah, I promise to come and join in for another celebration,” the Moroccan singer said.

In addition, Moroccan football players Yassine Bounou and Ahmed Reda Tagnaouti were present at the ceremony, supporting Mimia’s brand and her exquisite jewelry designs.

In an interview with MWN, Bounou said he was happy to be with Mimia during the opening of her store, congratulating her on her work and wishing her success.

“It’s a pleasure to be here with all these people … it is truly a grandiose event and we’re really happy for her,” the Moroccan goalkeeper added.

The partnership between the Moroccan jewelry designer and luxury car brand Bentley further elevated the occasion, adding a touch of sophistication and elegance to the grand opening. The collaboration underlined the shared commitment to distinction and attention to detail demonstrated by both brands.
