Rabat – King Mohammed VI has extended his heartfelt condolences and compassion to journalist Salim Benamar’s family and loved ones, saying he learned with deep sorrow the passing of the talented and widely admired journalist.
Omar Salim passed away on Monday in Casablanca after battling a long illness. In a mournful message, the monarch said he learned with profound emotions the news of the demise of the esteemed journalist, adding that he prays to God for his soul to rest in eternal peace.
