Rabat – The UEFA Champions League group stage draw took place earlier today in Monaco in the presence of UEFA officials, football superstars, and team representatives.
The draw ceremony unveiled the path that the continent’s top clubs will have to cross on their quest for European glory.
The event started with UEFA dignitaries and football legends taking the stage, building an anticipation-fille atmosphere.
The draw was executed with precision, assigning each of the participating teams to their respective groups according to their pots who are divided into 4 levels.
Here are the groups for the upcoming 2023-2024 UEFA Champions League group stage:
Group A: FC Bayern Munich, Manchester United, F.C. Copenhagen, and Galatasaray.
Group B: Sevilla FC, Arsenal, PSV Eindhoven, and RC Lens.
Group C: SSC Napoli, Real Madrid, SC Braga, and FC Union Berlin.
Group D: SL Benfica, Inter Milan, FC Salzburg, and Real Sociedad
Group E: Feyenoord, Atletico de Madrid, S.S. Lazio, and Celtic FC.
Group F: Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, and Newcastle United
Group G: Manchester City, RB Leipzig, FK Crvena Zvezda, and BSC Young Boys.
Group H: FC Barcelona, FC Porto, FC Shakhtar Donetsk, and Royal Antwerp.
According to the official UEFA website, the dates of the first matchday of the Champions League group stage are 19 and 20 September 2023.
