Rabat – A group of 12 individuals have been apprehended by local authorities in the Anfa security zone of Casablanca following a shocking incident of violence and sabotage on a public bus.
The suspects, aged between 14 and 18, are believed to have engaged in acts of vandalism and disruption, prompting swift police action.
According to a reliable security source, the incident unfolded when the group of suspects boarded an urban transport bus in the coastal region of Casablanca.
Subsequently, they allegedly engaged in disruptive behavior, creating chaos both on the bus and on the streets. The suspects are accused of assaulting other passengers, stealing their personal belongings and causing significant material damage to the bus’s equipment.
Law enforcement’s prompt response was instrumental in bringing the situation under control. Police patrols were immediately dispatched to the scene, leading to the identification and subsequent arrest of the individuals involved in the criminal acts.
The Judicial Police Brigade in the Anfa security zone has initiated judicial inquiries under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office. These inquiries aim to unravel the complete sequence of events leading up to the violent incident, determine the roles played by each suspect, and gather evidence for the pending legal proceedings.
