Rabat – According to Spanish website Diario de Sevilla, Moroccan international Oussama Idrissi is no longer of interest to La Liga club Sevilla.
Oussama Idrissi is reportedly very close to signing with Saudi League club Damac FC and negotiations between the Europa League winner Sevilla and its counterpart have already begun.
Current Sevilla coach Jose Luis Mendilibar has tested Idrissi in pre-season games. But, the coach was not satisfied with the performance of the player, resulting in coach relying on other key players in his position.
Based on the same media outlet, “The Biscayan coach requires more strength and overflow and the Madrid sports director will try to give it to him as soon as several outings come to fruition. Like Idrissi’s.”
The 27-year-old winger is known for his pace, speed, and dribbling skills which can easily give the Moroccan an advantage over defenders who attempt to guard him.
These qualities did not go unnoticed as it urged the former Atlas Lions coach Herve Renard to send him an invitation to join the first team and make his debut against Malawi during the 2019 CAN Qualifiers where he did not disappoint.
