Rabat – According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Real Madrid is set to send a final offer for the signing of Paris Saint-Germain’s (PSG) superstar Kylian Mbappe.
Los Blancos are expected to submit their final bid during the last days of the summer transfer window between August 29 and September 1.
Madrid’s plan is to pay 120 million euros for the 24-year-old player, an amount lower than the 150 million that PSG is asking for.
The Ligue 1 champions are facing a difficult situation, having to choose to either accept the offer or allow the player to leave for free in 2024.
With the 14-time Champions League winners desperately needing a striker to replace Karim Benzema who left for Al Ittihad, Mbappe remains the only remaining target for the club.
Mbappe was recently going through a difficult time with the Parisien club as he was not allowed to train with the group until this week, due to difficulties in contract negotiations.
Real Madrid is still optimistic about the transfer and they hope they can secure the services of the 2018 world champion.
