Rabat – Lindsie Nicole, a Canadian content creator, has joined other celebrities around the world who have expressed their support for Palestine since the events in Gaza over the past week.
Lindsie took to her social media platforms to express her solidarity with Palestine during the ongoing onslaught.
“If you support Palestine that means you don’t support or accept a 75 years occupation and ethnic cleansing of the Palestine people,” she said.
The influencer has been utilizing her influential voice to draw attention to the condition of the Palestinian people, over two million of whom have been trapped in the Gaza strip under a severe blockage for the past two decades.
In addition, she questioned those who refer to the Palestinian resistance group Hamas as a “terrorist organisation” as Israel has been occupying the Palestinian land since 1948 while the resistance group came to existence in the eighties.
The origins of the most recent aggressions can be traced back to when Hamas launched Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, a multifaceted surprise offensive against Israel.
The ongoing Israeli military actions in Gaza and the West Bank have persisted, resulting in the loss of thousands of Palestinian lives.
The Israeli Defense Forces launched a brutal war on the besieged Gaza Strip in response to the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel. On Tuesday, the Israeli bombing of Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza killed hundreds of injured Palestinians, igniting more criticism and backlash.
