Rabat – Morocco’s King Mohammed VI received a group of foreign ambassadors on Monday at the Royal Palace in Rabat.
During the reception, the ambassadors presented their letters of credence, officially commencing their roles as representatives of their countries in Morocco.
The long list of ambassadors includes Ambassador of Denmark Jesper Kammersgaard, Ambassador of Qatar Sheikh Abdullah Bin Thamer Mohammed Thani Al Thani, and Ambassador of the Comoros Mohamed Iliassa Yahaya.
In addition, King Mohammed VI received Ambassador of Colombia Jose Renato Salazar Acosta, Ambassador of Djibouti Mohamed Douhour Hersi, Ambassador of Japan Hideaki Kuramitsu, and Ambassador of Ethiopia Esayas Gotta Seifu.

German Ambassador Robert Dolger was also on the list in addition to Paraguayan Ambassador Victor Hugo Ramon Paniagua Fretes, Somali Ambassador Salaad Ali Ibrahim, and Sudanese Ambassador Mouda Omar Hadj Attoum Al Badaoui.
The Moroccan monarch also welcomed Russian Ambassador Vladimir Baybakov, Panamanian Ambassador Tomas Antonio Guardia Williamson, and Guinean Ambassador Namory Traore.
The audience was attended by Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita, and Chamberlain of the King Sidi Mohamed El Alaoui.
The exchange of credentials signifies the formal beginning of the ambassadors’ duties, which include representing their nations’ interests, fostering bilateral relations, and participating in Morocco’s vibrant diplomatic community.
