Rabat – Moroccan national carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) announced on Thursday the canceling of several flights from and to Tel Aviv amid the ongoing Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
In a statement, Royal Air Maroc said it is canceling flights AT228 from October 14-18 and AT229 flights from October 15-19.
“Royal Air Maroc is supporting its passengers with tickets to and from Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv on canceled flights by offering one free change, subject to availability to and from Tel Aviv for a new travel date within 15 days of the original flight date or refund of your ticket in the original payment method,” the airline said.
The Moroccan national carrier also informed customers that they will receive emails and SMS confirming the cancellation of their flight, encouraging them to check the status of their flight via its website.
“Passengers whose flights have been canceled are advised not to go to the airport and to contact their original point of sale or the RAM call center to benefit from the above provisions,” the airline stressed.
Last week, RAM also announced that it had canceled other flights scheduled for October 7-8 due to the deterioration of the crisis between Palestine and Israel.
The Gaza Strip and West Bank are under constant bombardment from relentless airstrikes by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) , which have killed over 1,500 Palestinians to date.
