Rabat – The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) faced widespread social media mockery after releasing a video from inside the Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza purportedly providing evidence of Hamas operating within the medical facility.
The video, which was an attempt for Israel to justify its genocide in Gaza and relentless targeting and bombing of hospitals and innocent civilians, quickly became the target of online ridicule.
In the video, the IDF spokesperson showcased weapons strategically placed behind an MRI machine and a room displaying what he described as a “full military kit” meticulously organized on shelves.
Social media users wasted no time in mocking the IDF’s attempt to present what they saw as a far-fetched narrative, which the Israeli military described as evidence that “totally confirms, without any doubt, that Hamas systematically uses hospitals in their military operations.”
One social media user sarcastically commented, “Imagine you’re a Hamas fighter operating in a huge military base under the hospital, but you decide to hide your weapon behind an MRI machine.” Another user humorously noted, “Gotta admire how tidy some of these terrorists are.”

Critics also questioned the credibility of the video, highlighting the absence of footage when actual discoveries were allegedly made.
“Weird how they NEVER have the camera on when they actually find this stuff. Also, how does an MRI work with an AK and multiple grenades right behind it? IT’S A F***ING MAGNET!,” a Twitter user said.
Amidst the wave of mockery, the IDF resorted to deleting the original video, initially captioned as “No cuts, no edits, just the undeniable truth.” Ironically, the IDF reposted the video with numerous edits and blurs, attempting to enhance believability.
