Rabat – Israeli occupation forces continue to oppress and massacre Palestinians in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, this time killing at least five victims during a violent raid on the Jenin refugee camp.
A hospital in the region also received four injured people, including one with a serious injury.
Two other wounded victims arrived at Ibn Sina Specialized hospital, including one with serious wounds.
The injured victims included a medic, who was shot with a bullet to the back, Al Jazeera confirmed.
Since October 7, Israeli occupation forces have killed over 166 Palestinians in the West Bank, with the majority of the massacred victims recorded in Gaza.
The death toll confirmed as of Wednesday put the number of murdered Palestinians at over 10,500 in Gaza.
The victims of Israel’s genocide include 4,324 children, 2,823 women, and 649 elders.
Over 26,000 others have been wounded during raids and airstrikes targeting schools, shelters, residential areas, and hospitals.
Israel has continued to intensify its attacks amid weak pressure from the international community, which failed to impose sanctions or secure a humanitarian ceasefire.
Palestinian policy network Al Shabaka has warned that the ongoing genocide caused “widespread devastation across the besieged Gaza,” with heavy bombardement that killed thousands of Palestinians and displaced over one million others.
The network also pointed out the world’s culpability in the war on Gaza, stressing: “Western states and multilateral bodies have drowned Palestinians in apolitical development aid that effectively subsidizes Israeli occupation and siege and relieves the Israeli regime of its obligations under international law.”
