Rabat – As Israel’s genocidal act of collective punishment on Gaza’s civilian population persists, disturbing videos have surfaced on social media showing Israeli soldiers harassing, mocking, abusing, and torturing Palestinian detainees in the West Bank.

One of the videos, filmed by Israeli soldiers, showed a group of blindfolded Palestinians lying on the ground with their hands and feet bound in a deserted area.

Several individuals in the video are stripped naked, with Israeli soldiers seen dragging some of them across rough terrain, while stomping on their faces and kicking them in the chest.

A separate video showed an Israeli soldier using offensive language, insulting, and spitting at a blindfolded Palestinian whose hands were bound behind his back.

News website Mondoweiss said that they confirmed the identity of the individual in the video as a resident of the Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem, a city in the West Bank. However, the exact location of the incident remains unknown.

Other videos have shown Israeli soldiers forcing bound and blindfolded Palestinians to wave Israeli flags, sing Israeli songs, or praise the state of Israel.

Amid these harrowing incidents, Israeli ongoing massacre of Gaza and the West Bank continues to take a devastating toll on Palestinian civilians, including children.

UNICEF reported that, on a daily basis, Israeli forces kill or injure 420 children in Gaza.

UK-based charity Save the Children has revealed that, on average, every 15 minutes a Palestinian child is killed since October 7.

The conflict’s most recent attacks have resulted in the loss of many lives, with the Jabalia refugee camp in Gaza experiencing extensive destruction and numerous casualties from Israeli bombardment and raids.

Israel raided the camp on Tuesday, claiming the lives of at least 400 civilians.

Israel claimed that these attacks were aimed at a Hamas commander, an allegation that the Palestinian group denied.

Since the new cycle of violence began on October 7, Israeli attacks have claimed the lives of more than 8,500 Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank and injured tens of thousands.

In addition, the Israeli army has destroyed nearly 180,000 residential units and launched over 270 attacks on medical centers, severely disrupting direly-needed health services in the besieged strip.
