Rabat – Morocco will leave New Jersey on Monday and head to Atlanta to continue preparations for their final Group C match against Haiti at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Atlas Lions will bring their stay in New Jersey to an end after holding one last training session at Pingry School, which has served as the team’s base since the start of the tournament.
According to Almountakhab, head coach Mohamed Ouahbi has scheduled a morning training session to put the finishing touches on his side before the squad boards a special flight to Atlanta.
The Moroccan delegation will then continue its preparations in Georgia, where the team will benefit from the positive atmosphere created by the results achieved in the first two matches.
Ouahbi and his staff are expected to focus on tactical and technical aspects ahead of the clash with Haiti, while also managing the players’ physical condition amid the busy World Cup schedule.
The match against Haiti carries major importance for Morocco, who sit top of Group C with four points after a draw with Brazil and a victory over Scotland.
The Atlas Lions will look to finish the group stage on a high and maintain their momentum before the start of the knockout rounds.
