Morocco’s Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has once again been named “Africa’s Best Airline” in the latest edition of Global Traveler magazine’s GT Tested Reader Survey.
The airline issued a press release today to announce the news, stressing that Royal Air Maroc received the award at a ceremony held recently in Los Angeles.
“This award … recognizes the national airline’s continuous efforts in enhancing the customer experience,” the communique said.

For Addou, this award is also the result of RAM employees’ hard work and unwavering commitment at “every stage of the customer journey.”
Addou also recalled the recent awards received by the company this year, including its recognition as the “Best Regional Airline in Africa” by the Skytrax Airline Awards.
“The awards we have received, based on direct feedback from our customers worldwide, serve as encouragement to preserve in our constant pursuit of excellence and innovation,” he added.
The GT Tested Reader survey is organized by Global Traveler, a monthly international magazine.
The Moroccan national carrier, which received the same award in 2021, announced this year its expansion plans.
Royal Air Maroc’s fleet currently includes 50 aircraft, with the company aiming to expand the current fleet to reach 200 over the next 15 years.
The project is part of a 2023-2032 program, which also aims to position Morocco among the world’s major tourist destinations.
