Rabat – Morocco women’s national team captain Ghizlane Chebbak, will be pursuing her footballing career in Spain with FC Levante Las Planas, said the club in a press release.

“FC Levante Planas enthusiastically welcomes Ghizlane to its ranks, recognizing her exceptional talent and commitment to sporting excellence,” reads the press release announcing the transfer.

At the age of 33, Ghizlane Chebbak will  be taking a new turn in her career as a professional football player. After 12 years spent donning the colors of AS FAR, the captain of the Atlas Lionesses will be playing in Spain in Liga F.

Throughout her career in Morocco, Chebbak demonstrated rigor and showed that she has the makings of a leader. With AS FAR alone, she won 10 Championships, 10 Throne Cups and a Champions League (2022), among others.

Following the news of her departure, Ghizlaine Chebbak expressed her gratitude to her club, AS FAR, and its supporters, stating that she will continue to push the boundaries and inspire new generations of football fans, as it is now time for her to embark upon a new journey.

Chebbak’s mission with Levante Las Planas will be far from easy, as her new club sits in 10th place in the Liga F standings with only 17 points, at a time where FC Barcelona (42 points) and Real Madrid (33 points) occupy 1st and 2nd places, respectively.
