Rabat – Morocco’s head coach, Walid Regragui, has revealed today an impressive lineup for the upcoming friendly matches, featuring top-tier talents like Hakim Ziyech, Sofyan Amrabat, Achraf Hakimi, and Brahim Diaz.

This announcement comes amid growing speculation surrounding Diaz’s decision to represent Morocco over Spain at the international level.

Included in the roster is Sofyan Rahimi, who recently made headlines with a standout performance for Al Ain against Al Nassr, a match featuring Cristiano Ronaldo.

Brahim Diaz’s selection in Walid Regragui’s squad for the friendly games against Angola and Mauritania officially puts to rest months of rumors regarding his international allegiance.

If Diaz participates in Morocco’s friendly against Angola on March 22, it would solidify his commitment to the Moroccan national team.

The roster, comprising a mix of experienced players and emerging talent across various positions, reflects Morocco’s determination to field a competitive team.

The roster includes a formidable lineup of goalkeepers, with Yassine Bounou, Munir El Kajoui, and El Mehdi Benabid poised to guard Morocco’s goalposts.

In defense, the team boasts talents like Nayef Aguerd, Abdelkabir Abqar, and Achraf Dari, offering a solid foundation to thwart opposition attacks. Alongside them, midfielders such as Oussama El Azzouzi, Bilal El Khannouss, and Azzedine Ounahi bring creativity and dynamism to Morocco’s midfield, complementing the team’s strategic approach.

In the attacking department, Morocco’s lineup is further bolstered by the presence of Ilias Akhomach, Ayoub El Kaabi, and Youssef En-Nesyri, promising a potent offensive threat against their adversaries.

With the inclusion of talents like Soufiane Rahimi, Amine Adli, and Eliesse Ben Seghir, Morocco’s squad demonstrates depth and versatility across all positions, underscoring the team’s readiness to compete at the highest level.
