Rabat – Groupe Atlantique, a leading multidisciplinary institution, has joined forces with Morocco’s state-owned investment fund CDG Invest with the aim of advancing higher education in Morocco and promoting economic development through education.
Announced on April 15, the partnership entails CDG Invest acquiring a 20% stake in the Groupe Atlantique’s capital through its Generation Entrepreneurs program, said the Casablanca-based institution in a press release.
This investment provides the Groupe Atlantique with the necessary resources to accelerate the deployment of its higher education model, focused on pedagogical innovation, academic excellence, and professional immersion.
“This strategic partnership marks a significant turning point for the Groupe Atlantique and underlines CDG Invest’s confidence in the group’s potential to become a center of excellence in higher education in Morocco,” said the statement.
A press conference detailing this partnership is scheduled for Monday, April 22, at the Atlantic Business School campus, a management school of the Atlantique Group.
Leadership and Expertise
The Groupe Atlantique positions itself as a leading institution in higher education, as it benefits from the dynamism of private higher education in Morocco and the support of the Moroccan government for the development of private centers of excellence in higher education, added the statement.
The group stressed its commitment to offering “premier education” that combines “academic excellence, pedagogical innovation, practical experience in the professional environment, and strong social responsibility.”
Within its “initial training” programs, the group comprises two specialized higher schools. This includes the Atlantic Business School, a management institution established in 1985 (previously known as ESIG), and the Atlantic Engineering School, dedicated to engineering disciplines.
Both schools are officially authorized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation under number 13/85 and 497/2023 respectively.
In addition, the group includes a continuing education center, the Atlantic Executive Center, which offers a wide range of courses aimed at supporting businesses and enhancing the skills of their executives.
The group also houses an applied research center known as CERUNA, aimed at conducting practical research, and a foundation dedicated to promoting research activities and providing support to deserving students.
The statement highlighted the founders and key figures behind the Groupe Atlantique, who bring extensive experience and expertise in the higher education sector.
Professor Rachid M’rabet, serving as the President of the group, previously held the position of General Director of Moroccan business school ISCAE for 20 years and played a key role in establishing the ISCAE Doctoral Studies Center.
Meanwhile, Younes Slaoui, President of Averroes Holding, co-founded the international Odyssey Education Group and the French International School of Casablanca, bringing valuable insights from the business and education sectors.

Innovative Teaching Approach
M’Rabet added that the institution’s goal is “to train for professions and skills that ensure sustainable employability and contribute to Morocco”s influence in Africa and internationally.”
To achieve these goals, the group follows an innovative teaching approach based on five key pillars.
This includes “Academic Excellence,” through which the group aims to ensure high-quality study programs with a qualified faculty, personalized student support, and mentoring.
In addition, the group allows students to engage in a unique model combining theoretical education with hands-on professional experience. The goal, ultimately, is to make it possible for students to accumulate up to two years of practical experience before graduation.
Through partnerships with renowned institutions worldwide, the Groupe Atlantique fosters a global perspective and offers students opportunities for international mobility.
In addition, students from different schools collaborate and train together with an interdisciplinary approach that promotes a comprehensive learning experience.
The group also prioritizes the development of soft skills and language proficiency to prepare students for successful integration into the professional world.
