Marrakech – On  Monday, April 15, 2024, Casablanca celebrates the eagerly anticipated reopening of the Royal Mansour hotel.

After eight years of meticulous renovation, the modernist structure proudly reclaims its place at 27 Forces Armées Royales Avenue, faithfully preserving the architectural heritage of its era, according to the organizers.

The Royal Mansour Casablanca marks the revival of the iconic 1950s palace, a hub for celebrities, creatives, and aficionados worldwide, a press release shared with Morocco World News stated.

Boasting 149 rooms, suites, and private apartments, three signature restaurants, including one on the 23rd floor with stunning city and ocean views, spa & fitness facilities spanning two floors, a conference center, and a ballroom.

As stated in the press release in a nod towards the millennia-old city’s memory and the safeguarding of its invaluable architectural legacy, the Royal Mansour Casablanca seamlessly continues a rich history, breathing new life into a unique space in the city and in the hearts of the people of the city.

Seventy years after the inauguration of Casablanca’s first 5-star hotel, the Royal Mansour faithfully embraces the modernist architectural codes of the 1950s, adorned with sleek furnishings.

The lush greenery-filled volumes of the era’s courtyard and the majestic staircase find reinterpretation within its walls.

While traditions endure, the strictest construction standards are adhered to, encompassing sustainability, responsibility, safety, and technology.

“This new hotel in Casablanca has its own distinct personality, in harmony with the city’s identity. Like in Marrakech, the Royal Mansour signature is evident: excellence in service, discretion, and privacy cherished by our guests. All within an exceptional location deeply rooted in its destination,” stated Jean-Claude Messant, General Manager at the Royal Mansour Collection.

The opening of Royal Mansour Casablanca coincides with the rise of Morocco’s economic capital, also called the White City,  on the international tourist stage.

As a pioneering destination, Casablanca is undergoing an extraordinary transformation amid a vibrant buzz of activity.
