Rabat – Rabat Business School (RBS) is celebrating more than just a graduation day today. The ceremony marks not only the achievements of its graduating class but also the school’s impressive strides in becoming a global leader in business education.

RBS’s dedication to innovation and academic excellence, coupled with a focus on diversity, has propelled it to the forefront of the field, not just in Africa but internationally.

This commitment is reflected in the school’s recent introduction of a first-of-its-kind triple degree program in Africa.

As the graduation ceremony unfolds, Noureddine Mouaddib, President of the International University of Rabat (UIR), reflects on the significance of this momentous occasion in opening remarks.

He acknowledges the dedication of faculty members and staff in shaping the future leaders of tomorrow. Mouaddib also highlights the pivotal role of partnerships and government support in the university’s journey towards excellence. 

According to Mouaddib, from its inception as the first university created in Morocco through a partnership with the state, to its current status as a beacon of academic innovation and success, the university is committed  to fostering social diversity and scholarly excellence.

The achievements of the International University of Rabat extend beyond traditional academia. According to the president, with over 14,000 students and a robust scholarship policy, the university is dedicated to providing access to quality education for all.

“Our vision is to become the reference business school in Africa, and I must say that today, we are on the right track,” declared Olivier Aptel, Dean of RBS, with pride.

In his remarks, he  highlighted RBS’s growing attractiveness, with the school becoming the largest business school in Morocco and steadily increasing its student enrollment.

RBS has also garnered recognition for its academic excellence, with its professors leading the field in scientific publications. Dean Aptel emphasized the significance of these achievements, noting the institution’s notable recognitions by accreditation bodies and ranking organizations.

RBS’s growing reputation is undeniable. It has  become the largest business school in Morocco, boasting a steadily increasing student body and international recognition for its faculty’s research contributions.

This growth is further emphasized by RBS’s remarkable jump in the Financial Times Top 100 rankings. The school climbed a staggering 32 places to secure the 54th position this year

A culture of excellence that fosters employable graduates 

The impact of RBS extends beyond accolades. With a robust scholarship program and over 14,000 students, the university ensures access to quality education for all.

Its graduates, equipped not only with knowledge and skills but also with the spirit of innovation instilled by their alma mater, boast an impressive 86% employability rate, aligning with the standards of top business schools worldwide.

“Today we celebrate the graduation of the 11th cohort of Rabat Business School graduates,” stated Zineb Mdarhri, Head of Alumni.

She expressed immense pride in these graduates, highlighting their role as not just successful professionals but also integral members of the RBS Alumni network, a thriving community of over 3,000 executives, entrepreneurs, and government officials.

RBS fosters a truly globalized learning environment with a diverse and dynamic student body exceeding 2,500, including a significant international cohort.

Accredited by AACSB and with a faculty representing 20 nationalities, the school delivers its curriculum predominantly in English. This immersive experience prepares graduates to thrive in an interconnected global economy.
