Paramedics rushed to administer aid to the victim, but their efforts were in vain as the young died of cardiac arrest before reaching the hospital.
In the wake of the tragedy, questions abound regarding the motive behind the attack and the identity of the perpetrator. Law enforcement vowed to leave no stone unturned in their quest for justice, urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in their inquiries.
In addition to the deceased young man, other individuals were among the victims. A Tunisian was hospitalized, while an Egyptian suffered minor injuries.
According to some locals, this escalation of violence seems to be the direct result of rivalries for control of territories and drug distribution points, fueling a cycle of violence that is difficult to dissolve.
