Rabat – Today signifies a crucial milestone for Moroccan baccalaureate students as the Ministry of National Education unveils the results of the 2024 standardized national baccalaureate examinations.
Anticipation has been palpable since the conclusion of the exams earlier this month, held nationwide.
A statement released by the Ministry of Education reveals that 245,881 candidates from both public and private schools have successfully passed the exams in this ordinary session, with 143,366 of them being girls.
The overall pass rate for this year’s session has reached 67.8%, marking an 8% increase compared to the previous year’s results.
Among the candidates, girls achieved a pass rate of 72%, surpassing boys who achieved a pass rate of 62.6%.
One of the many standout achievements worth noting is that of Samira Khazaz.
From Taroudant, she attained the highest average in the Souss-Massa region for the 2023-2024 academic year, achieving an impressive grade of 19.55 in the Physical Sciences.
Similarly, Amani Lina and Balkouchi Amira distinguished themselves in the Casablanca-Settat region, each securing a noteworthy grade of 19.62 also in the Physical Science branch, French option.
Dhia Hadi emerged as the top grade in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, excelling in the Physical Sciences branch, French option.
She achieved the highest score in the private education sector of her region, attaining an outstanding 19.45.
Meanwhile, Hiba Mouatassim achieved a commendable score of 19.3 at the public Lycee Moulay Rachid in the same region.
Candidates who may need to retake the exams have been informed that the retake session will begin on July 10 and conclude on July 13, with results announced on July 19.
As the outcomes of the 2023-2024 baccalaureate exams are revealed, families, educators, and communities rejoice in the achievements of these students, whose hard work has led to remarkable academic success.
