Rabat – The Moroccan Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, in collaboration with technology company Oracle, announced on Friday the official launch of a new online training and certification portal.
The platform aims to equip Moroccan university students and professors with essential digital skills through free access to diverse training programs and professional certifications.
This initiative aims to enhance digital skills and talent in Morocco, as well as support the country’s ongoing digital transformation, the development of the digital economy, and the needs of both national and international employers and investors, noted the ministry in a statement.
It added that the partnership aligns with the vision of the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform to increase the number of individuals trained in digital professions.
In addition, it supports the implementation of the National Plan for Accelerating the Transformation of the Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation Ecosystem by 2030 (PACTE ESRI 2030). A key component of this plan is the creation and deployment of “Code 212” centers within Moroccan universities.
The resources that the platform offers will also provide opportunities for professional certifications in various technology fields, leveraging Oracle’s expertise. These certifications will help recognize and validate the skills and knowledge of the participants, the ministry said.
The new website indicated that the platform provides essential training on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), artificial intelligence (AI) concepts, DevOps, APEX low-code development, and database services.
In addition, it covers end-to-end business processes for Oracle’s HCM, SCM, ERP, and CX Cloud solutions, as well as Java SE for developing secure applications.
