Rabat – Tamwilcom, a public financial institution, and the Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health (FM6SS) announced on Friday a strategic partnership aimed at supporting startups and fostering innovation in the health tech sector.
The two organizations signed a memorandum of understanding on Thursday at a ceremony in Casablanca.
The agreement was formalized by Hicham Zanati Serghini, General Manager of Tamwilcom, and Youns Bijou, Deputy Director of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health.
As part of this initiative, Tamwilcom will leverage its extensive network of partners through the Innov Invest Fund (FII) to provide robust support for innovative projects emerging from FM6SS and its ecosystem.
The partnership will include joint efforts in organizing and promoting awareness and communication activities to inform project leaders about the various financing options available.
The activities are designed to enhance the capabilities of entrepreneurs and guide them through their development journey.
In addition, the Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health will offer health tech startups access to essential infrastructure, expertise, and facilities to ensure the successful implementation of their projects.
The support aims to maximize the chances of success for start-ups in developing innovative and effective health solutions.

Both Tamwilcom and FM6SS are committed to pooling their expertise and resources to organize joint communication efforts.
These efforts will raise awareness about the opportunities available through this collaboration and highlight the potential for growth and innovation within Morocco’s health tech sector.
The FM6SS, which is under the honorary chairmanship of King Mohammed VI is an independent non-profit institution dedicated to serving the public interest.
Its primary objective is to promote medical treatments while fostering the development of education, training, research, and innovation.
The FM6SS comprises a set of entities, including the Mohammed VI International University Hospital, the Cheikh Khalifa International University Hospital, the Mohammed VI University of Sciences and Health, and the Mohammed VI Continuing Education Center among others.
