Rabat – Morocco’s Abderrazak Hamdallah and Saudi football club Al-Taawon have struck a deal to strengthen their ranks with his acquisition during the ongoing summer transfer window.
According to the Saudi newspaper Arryadia, the Moroccan footballer is anticipated to arrive to Al-Qassim province this week to finalize his transfer to Al-Taawon.
The newspaper stated that Hamdallah will undergo medical examinations at the club’s facilities, followed by the official signing and introduction to the media.
Since joining in 2022, Hamdallah has emerged as a key figure at Al-Ittihad Jeddah, featuring prominently in 88 matches across various competitions and netting 68 goals.
Hamdallah, a Moroccan professional footballer, serves as a striker for the Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad and represents the Moroccan national team.
He is famously known as “the executioner” for his exceptional goal-scoring ability.
Previously, he has played for clubs such as Aalesunds FK (Norway), Guangzhou R&F (China), Al Rayyan (Qatar), and Al-Nassr (Saudi Arabia).
Hamdallah clinched victories for his team in the Saudi Super Cup, scoring in a 1-1 draw against Al Taawoun and a 3-0 win over Al Hilal in January 2021, while playing for Al Nassr.
His arrival at Al-Taawoun is anticipated to enhance the team’s offensive capabilities and bolster their ambitions in both domestic and regional competitions.
