Rabat – Soufiane Rahimi has entered history, becoming the all-time top scorer for the Moroccan national team in the Olympics.
With a total of four goals, Rahimi has achieved this milestone during the ongoing Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Rahimi’s latest achievement came during the Moroccan U-23 team’s match against Iraq, where he scored his fourth goal of the tournament.
This remarkable performance has propelled him to the top of the Olympic scoring charts, marking a significant accomplishment for the 26-year-old Al-Ain player.
The Moroccan forward’s exceptional play has also earned him the title of the top scorer in the history of the Moroccan Olympic team, surpassing Ahmed Faras, who scored three goals at the 1972 Munich Olympics.
Rahimi scored his fourth goal of the tournament in Morocco’s 3-0 defeat of Iraq today, impressively cementing his team’s landslide qualification for the quarterfinals.
