Marrakech – Morocco is poised to make a grand entrance at Seafood Expo Asia, turning heads with its debut from September 4-6 at the Sands Expo Convention Centre in Singapore.
This year, the North African country joins an elite lineup of 46 countries, bringing its unique flair to the expo’s largest-ever international showcase, according to a press release.
Joining for the first time are Azerbaijan, Brazil, Denmark, New Caledonia, Qatar, Scotland, Sri Lanka, and Venezuela. Plus, fresh regional pavilions from Morocco, Japan, and Saudi Arabia are adding extra sizzle.
Other countries participating are Australia, Canada, Chile, Ecuador, France, Germany, India, Netherlands, Norway, Mauritius, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam and more.
The exhibit floor at this year’s Seafood Expo Asia is set to dazzle with top-tier seafood companies flaunting their latest offerings and cutting-edge sustainability practices.
From AquaChile to Coast Seafood AS, and Ferme Marine de Mahebourg Ltd, the lineup reads like a “who’s who” of the seafood sector.

Seafood professionals and decision-makers from airlines, cruise lines, distributors, hotels, and more will converge at Seafood Expo Asia, hunting for new suppliers, products, and trends.
Attendees can also expect a bustling exhibit floor where top seafood companies will showcase their latest offerings and sustainable practices.
High-volume buyers will engage in a business matchmaking program designed to connect them with the right seafood exhibitors.
The expo’s special events will keep attendees engaged with educational sessions and exciting competitions.
Day one and two will feature the Young Chef Challenge, where culinary students and chefs under 25 compete in various challenges judged by top culinary experts like Eric Neo, Executive Chef at Capella Singapore.
Other highlights will include the Oyster Challenge, a three-round competition where chefs shuck oysters and pair them with innovative sauces, and the Seafood Excellence Asia awards, recognizing the best new seafood products at the Expo.
With over 3,500 kilometers of stunning coastline along the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, Morocco’s maritime treasures are making waves internationally.
The country’s expansive maritime area of roughly 1.2 million square kilometers and a fishery potential of nearly 1.5 million tons as estimated by the FAO, underscore Morocco’s pivotal role in the global seafood arena.
