Rabat – The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) announced today the final roster for Morocco’s U-20 women’s national team, which is set to compete in the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The squad, comprising 24 players including three reserves, will be guided by Jorge Vilda, the Spanish coach of the senior national women’s team.
This international tournament will take place from August 31 to September 22 in Colombia and will be the first time that the Moroccan U-20 team competes in the World Cup.
The matches will be hosted across three different Colombian cities: Bogotá, Cali, and Medellín.
Morocco has been placed in Group C for the tournament, where they will face formidable opponents: the reigning champions Spain, and the USA, who hold three titles, a record shared with Germany and Paraguay.

The final roster for the Moroccan team includes players such as Ines Souifi from Colomiers, Anissa Rouinba of FC Köln, and Fatima Zahra El Jebraoui from Wydad Athletic Club.
Fathima Zahraa Naini from Hilal Témara Sportif and Fatima El Ghazouani from Lens are also part of the squad, alongside Hajar Said of FC Girondins Bordeaux and Ikram Neddar from Frosinone Calcio Femminile.
Other notable players include Siham Bouhouch from RC Strasbourg, Maissen Bourhrine of Olympique Lyonnais, and Djennah Cherif from Thonon Evian Geneve.
Meanwhile, Dania Boussatta, currently not belonging to any club, and Kawtar Ait Omar of Genk will be representing Morocco. Samya Masnaoui, also not affiliated with a club, and Lina Laetitia Farida Aich from Stade De Reims are included in the squad, along with Dounia Ftouh of AS FAR.
Kautar Azraf from Barcelona and Yasmin Zouhir from Real Betis Balompié are also set to be part of the team, as will Hajar Jbilou of AS FAR and Romaissa Boukakar from AZ Alkmaar. Sofia Boussate of Montpellier HSC and Doha El Madani from AS FAR complete the roster.
The reserve list features Ameerah Jo Maamry from Racing Louisville, Wissal El Assaoui of Sporting Club Casablanca, and Houda El Mestour from UTS.
The Moroccan U-20 team is poised to make a notable debut in this World Cup, facing a challenging group stage with high expectations.
