Marrakech – Saidia Resorts, Morocco’s premier coastal destination, has proudly joined the “Green Destinations” movement, marking a major milestone in its commitment to responsible tourism.

By embracing this eco-friendly initiative, Saidia Resorts is not only stepping up its environmental game but also becoming the first destination in Africa to sign the convention, setting a vibrant example for the future, according to a recent press release.

This significant step reflects Saidia Resorts’ dedication to environmental regeneration and its ambition to lead the way in sustainable tourism.

The move places the resort among over 500 worldwide destinations vying for recognition in the “Green Destinations” Awards and Certification Program, accredited by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC).

This prestigious acknowledgment demands effective environmental management, social responsibility, preservation of local culture, and support for economic sustainability.

Saidia Resorts is set to redefine coastal luxury by integrating sustainable development with its stunning natural beauty.

It’s a haven where adventure flourishes alongside environmental consciousness, enhancing guest experiences while preserving the unique charm of the region.

Situated on the Mediterranean coast, Saidia Resorts is a must-visit destination in Morocco.

Nestled in the Trifa plain, it boasts the longest beach on the Moroccan Mediterranean, stretching over 14 kilometers of fine sand.

The resort is conveniently located near the Moulouya River, a site of biological and ecological interest renowned for its diverse fauna and flora, stated the press release.

Spanning 712 hectares, Saidia Resorts offers a range of attractions, including a marina with over 850 berths, two 18-hole golf courses, a water park, a shopping center, an array of restaurants, hotels, and a luxurious residential component.

As stated in the press release, the resort complex embodies a commitment to blending relaxation with sustainability, ensuring that every visit contributes to a greener, more responsible future.
