Rabat– Former Moroccan international footballer Abdelaziz Barrada has passed away at the age of 35 in France. Reports indicate that Barrada suffered a heart attack, leading to his untimely death.
Born on June 19, 1989, in Province, France, Barrada made significant contributions to Moroccan football throughout his career. He represented the Moroccan Olympic team, where he captained the squad during the 2012 London Olympic Games.
In addition to his Olympic achievements, Barrada played for the Atlas Lions’ senior national team, appearing in 28 matches and scoring 4 goals between 2012 and 2015.
Barrada had a distinguished club career, notably playing for Olympique de Marseille in France and Getafe in Spain.
