Rabat – Almost a year since the Israeli genocide on Gaza began, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continue their deadly attacks across the besieged enclave and the West Bank.

Gaza’s Health Ministry reported today that at least 41,638 people have been killed in Gaza since October 7, including 23 fatalities in the last 24 hours. In addition, at least 96,460 people have been injured due to Israeli attacks.

Wafa news agency reported that Israeli killed at least 19 civilians at dawn in a bombing on the Nuseirat camp and the Shuja’iyya school in central Gaza. The two areas were home to displaced Palestinians from the Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

In addition, 11 Palestinians, including a child, were killed today in an Israeli attack that targeted a tent sheltering displaced people west of Khan Younis.

Meanwhile, Israeli violence on Palestinians in the West Bank continues. Wafa reported that Israeli forces shot a 33-year-old Palestinian man during storming of the old city of Nablus at dawn.

Over the last 24 hours, the IOF detained 30 Palestinians, including a child, in different raids across the West Bank, the report added.

Philippe Lazzarini, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), expressed grave concern over the dire situation in Gaza.

“Gaza has become uninhabitable, its people face disease, death or hunger on a daily basis,” he told reporters at the UN office in Geneva on Monday.

Lazzarini added that “the people of Gaza are trapped in 10% of the land” in Gaza after continuous displacement “in search of safety that they never found.”

In addition to its deadly attacks on Palestinians, the IOF simultaneously continue their attacks in Lebanon, killing at least 700 people since last Monday. The IOF’s bombardement is mainly concentrated in the south, but they have carried out attacks terrorizing civilians across the country, including multiple bombings of the capital, Beirut.

In the early morning hours this morning, Israeli forces said their ground troops have entered Lebanon from the south in preparation for what they claim to be a “limited” incursion against Hezbollah strongholds. Meanwhile, the Lebanese group has denied any incursion into the country’s soil.
