Moghreb Tetouan secured the second promotion spot to the Botola Pro after an intense 2-0 away win against Racing Casablanca on Saturday.
The match sealed the fates of both teams, with Tetouan returning to the top flight and Racing Casablanca being relegated to the amateur division.
Moghreb Tetouan now has 50 points in second place, six points ahead of their closest rivals, Chabab Khénifra, who could only manage a 1-1 draw against Union Oujda. This result guarantees their return to the top division with one matchday remaining.
Meanwhile, Wydad Temara, who had already secured promotion, continued their historic run with a valuable 1-0 away win against Stade Marocain, bringing their total to 53 points.
This victory keeps Wydad Temara three points ahead of Moghreb Tetouan, with the final matchday set to determine the league leader.
On the other hand, Chabab Khénifra drew with Ittihad Oujda, bringing their total to 44 points in third place.
At the bottom of the standings, Raja Beni Mellal revived their hopes of avoiding relegation after defeating Chabab Mohammedia 2-0, raising their points to 30. However, they remain second-to-last, with a crucial round that is set to determine the fate of the relegation battle.
