Casablanca – This October 27, lace up your sneakers and hit the pavement for the 15th edition of the International Marathon of Casablanca, where you can experience the thrill of running through the city’s iconic streets and soak up the vibrant culture along the way.

Prepare for an unforgettable day filled with energy and community spirit as the streets of Casablanca come alive.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking to  be a part of the atmosphere, this marathon combines challenge and celebration in one of Morocco’s most vibrant cities.

Choose your challenge

Runners can select from three exciting race options: the full marathon (42.195 km), a half marathon (21.0975 km), or a lively 10k run.

Each course winds through the heart of Casablanca, featuring stunning landmarks, including the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, which majestically overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.

Running through Morocco’s economic capital isn’t just about the miles; it’s about immersing yourself in the city’s rich history and culture while staying active.

You’ll experience both historic sites and the modern hustle, making every step a story to tell.

More than a race

This marathon is more than just a competition; it’s a celebration of community, bringing people together through fitness and fun. Expect a lively atmosphere filled with local cheer, music, and perhaps some spontaneous dance-offs along the route!

The marathon is set to start near the Al Amal complex on El Jadida Road, with the following schedule:

  • Marathon: 7:30 a.m.
  • Half Marathon: 8:00 a.m.
  • 10k: 8:30 a.m.

To register, you can visit the Casa Ticketing website for Moroccan participants or World Marathons website for international participants.

Additionally, you can sign up at various sales points in Casablanca from October 9 to 26.

Make sure to pick up your race bib at the Marathon Village located at Place Rachidi between October 18 and 26, from 9 a.m to 8 p.m.

Whether you’re aiming for a personal best or just in it for the fun, the Casablanca International Marathon is a fantastic opportunity to experience the city and meet fellow fitness enthusiasts.

Mark your calendars, and make some memories – one stride at a time.

Enjoy the marathon!
