Rabat – Saudi club Al-Nassr is keen on signing En-Nesyri as Coach Stefano Pioli is looking for a proven striker to complement Ronaldo and Sadio Mané.

En-Nesyri has failed to impress since his €20 million move from Sevilla last summer on a deal that expires in 2029. However, the Moroccan striker has scored just two goals in 11 league matches. He has also started only five games, with coach José Mourinho opting for veteran Edin Džeko instead.

Džeko, at 38, is showing no signs of slowing down. He has already scored 11 goals in all competitions this season, leaving little room for En-Nesyri to justify his price tag.

Reports suggest Fenerbahçe is now ready to let him go.

The Turkish side is working on fixing its struggling attack and is reportedly targeting Anderson Talisca from Al-Nassr for the next transfer window. A swap deal could be on the table, with Youssef En-Nesyri heading the other way Saudi Arabia.

Talisca has been in great form, scoring six goals in nine games in the Saudi league this season.

The deal seems to suit both clubs. Fenerbahçe needs a goal-scoring attacker to stay competitive in the Süper Lig and Europa League, while Al-Nassr wants to strengthen their squad with a highly energetic target man who thrives in aerial duels.

Al-Nassr reportedly offered €30m for the striker for a straight transfer but Fenerbahçe turned it down.

If the swap deal fails, Fenerbahçe are making plans to sign Gabriel Barbosa, known as Gabigol. Reports in Turkiye suggest Fenerbahçe already have a deal with Gabigol. His contract with Flamengo ends on 31 December.

En-Nesyri’s departure might give him the desperately fresh start he needs.
