Rabat – The Moroccan U20 team take on Algeria today in a clash of fierce rivals with a ticket to the U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) at play.

Kick-off is at 7 p.m. at the Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia, Egypt. Fans can catch the action live on Arryadia channel and Egypt’s OnTime Sports.

The Atlas Cubs have been on fire, having won two games in the North African qualifiers. First, they beat hosts Egypt. Then, they edged Tunisia 2-1. Now, they lead the group with six points.

A match against Algeria is more than just a game. It’s a battle between two arch-rivals – and neighbors. Both teams are fighting to book their ticket to the AFCON U20.

However, Morocco enters the fray as favorites. They’ve looked sharp in attack and solid at the back. A win today will send them straight to the AFCON finals. They will still face Libya in their final match, but victory tonight makes that game less crucial.

Algeria, however, won’t be pushovers. They drew their opener in the qualifiers but bounced back to beat Libya. They need a strong performance tonight to keep their hopes alive. Their squad is packed with talent, and they’re determined to upset their rivals.

At the end of this tournament, the top two teams will qualify for the U20 AFCON.

With Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, and Libya all battling it out, every point matters. It’s a tough competition, and tonight’s match is a decider.

So can Morocco retain their dominance and keep a perfect record? Or will Algerians stand on their way and upset their hopes?
