Rabat – Morocco’s Atlas Lions are set to close out the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 qualifiers with a decisive match tonight against Lesotho.

Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. Moroccan time at Stade d’Honneur in Oujda, where the home team will aim to cap their Group B journey with a flawless record.

Following their dominant 5-1 defeat of Gabon in Franceville over the weekend, Morocco’s squad is expected to approach this game with momentum and confidence.

A win would not only cement their top spot in the group but also reflects their ambitions for the continental tournament.

The Atlas Lions’ lineup promises a blend of seasoned talent and emerging stars. Key players include Yassine Bounou, who will captain the team from goal, and defender Nayef Aguerd.

Rising stars like Bilal El Khannous and Abdessamad Ezzalzouli bring youthful dynamism to Morocco’s attack.

Sofyan Amrabat, the team’s midfield anchor, will orchestrate play alongside Azzedine Ounahi, while Brahim Diaz adds creative flair.

In defense, Morocco will rely on the experienced Nayef Aguerd, with Jawad El Yamiq partnering him at the back. Noussair Mazraoui will provide his attacking prowess from the right wing-back position.

In midfield, Sofyan Amrabat and Azzedine Ounahi will look to control the tempo, with Brahim Diaz playing a key role in linking the play.

Up front, Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, Soufiane Rahimi, Eliesse Ben Seghir, and Ayoub Aznou will form a potent attacking quartet, looking to break down Lesotho’s defense and secure the win.

Fans can watch the match live on BeIN Sport 2 Arabic and BeIN Sport France.
