Niger vs Ghana: Where and How to Watch AFCON Qualifier Game

Rabat – Niger and Ghana will face off today as part of their final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier game.

Ghana wants to secure a pride victory after failing to qualify for the tournament, while Niger wants to end its qualifying campaign on a high note.

The match, which will take place today at 5 p.m. at the Accra stadium in Ghana. Fans who can’t catch the action live can stream the game on both beIN Sports and the Vavel platform. 

Despite Ghana’s disappointment, Coach Otto Addo has defended his team, saying he wants the match to serve as a means to regain the support of the fans.

“Most people judge me by results that haven’t been good, but I have friends and mentors like Sammer and Jurgen Klopp under whom I trained as an assistant coach at Dortmund,”  the Ghanaian coach said to the press. 

He added that the feedback is what he values, not the opinions of those who criticize from afar.

Predicted lineup 

Ghana: Nurudeen; Mensah, Simpson, Seidu, Schindler; Sulemana, Owusu, Baidoo; Annan, Konigsdorffer, Naumah

Niger: Djibo; Garba, Katkore, Sako, Alhassane; Oumarou, Badamassi, Mohamed; Hainikoye, Sosah, Amoustapha

Predicted score 

Ghana is expected to beat Niger, according to Goal.

Today features several other qualifier games, including Morocco vs Lesotho which will take place at Honneur Stadium in Oujda. 

The Atlas Lions, who have already immediately qualified for the AFCON, aim to secure more points as the qualifiers continue. Morocco has been successful in securing positive performances, including its latest appearance last week against Gabon.

Morocco won its Friday match against Gabon 5-1.

The Atlas Lions are dominating FIFA Africa rankings, with fans eager to see the Moroccan squad secure the AFCON trophy at home next year.

Today’s qualifier games also include Malawi vs Burkina Faso, Nigeria vs Rwanda, Tunisia vs Gambia, and the Central African Republic vs Gabon.
