Rabat — Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) killed as many as 33 civilians this morning in airstrikes targeting Jabalia in northern Gaza.

Israeli warplanes bombed a house where many displaced people had taken refuge, according to reports by Palestinian news agency WAFA on Sunday.

“The bombing completely destroyed the building, leaving rubble and devastation in its wake,” the news outlet stated, describing it as a “bloodbath.”

Rescuers recovered 33 bodies, which included 13 children.

A significant number of victims sustained injuries, and many are still under the debris while rescue teams rush to locate potential survivors.

The IOF’s massacres have continued since October 2023, and the death toll now stands at 43,552 victims. 102,765 others have been injured, while thousands are missing and presumed killed.

A report earlier this week from the UN said that 70% of the victims of the ongoing Israeli genocide are women and children.

The report, however, only confirms 8,119 victims of the more than 34,500 killed during the first six months of the Gaza genocide.

“This report presents grave concerns regarding the human rights situation in occupied Gaza since the last report of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights to the UN Human Rights Council, and covers a period of six months, from 1 November 2023, when the last Human Rights Council report covered the events on the ground,1 up to 30 April 2024,” the OHCHR said.

Amid its genocidal war on Gaza, IOF continues its aggression on Lebanon.

On Sunday, at least 40 Lebanese were killed and dozens injured from Israel’s airstrikes and artillery bombing.

The death toll of Lebanese people killed by the IOF since October of 2023 has reached 3,136, with 13,979 others reported injured.
