Rabat – Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) are continuing to launch extensive waves of attacks o in their genocide on Gaza and multiple raids across the occupied West Bank.
Overnight airstrikes and artillery fire targeted areas in Gaza’s Nuseirat refugee camp, where tanks and ground troops advanced and besieged numerous families.
Among the casualties in Nuseirat were a journalist and his wife, who were killed in their tent, set up in search of shelter after their home was destroyed months earlier.
Residents of this camp, located near the Netzarim Junction, continue to face daily terror under heavy artillery fire and low-flying drones.
Wafa news agency reported additional casualties in the same camp, with two Palestinians killed and several others wounded when Israeli forces struck makeshift tents housing displaced families.
In a separate incident, an Israeli quadcopter strike killed at least three people who were attempting to install a water pipe network in Nuseirat.
The Palestinian Center for Human Rights spoke of the extent of the devastation in northern Gaza’s Jabalia refugee camp, where an Israeli airstrike killed 24 members of a single family on Sunday, including 14 children. The air raid claimed a total of 36 lives.
On the same day, the IOF targeted northern Lebanon, killing 23 individuals in the village of Almat near Beirut.
Simultaneously, Israeli forces intensified attacks across the occupied West Bank, raiding cities and refugee camps overnight.
In Ramallah’s Jalazone camp, multiple arrests were made as Israeli soldiers conducted house-to-house searches. In Hebron, the home of Mayor Tayseer Abu Sneineh was reportedly raided.
Further south, in the towns of Beit Ummar, Azzun, and Amatin, the IOF forcefully detained three Palestinians from Nablus and stormed the towns of al-Khader and Tammun. Wafa news agency reported that in Bethlehem’s al-Khader town, the IOF used sound bombs, frightening residents as they moved through the area.
This comes as the humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate, with residents, particularly in the north, facing worsening shortages of essential supplies and little hope for relief. Efforts to negotiate a ceasefire have also stalled, with Qatar recently announcing that it has ceased its mediation efforts.
As we enter the 13th month, the death toll for Israel’s genocide on Gaza has reached 43,608 with many others presumed dead missing under the rubble. With nowhere that is safe to hide from relentless IOF aggression, the situation for Palestinians continues to become more and more grim by the minute.
